Anton is a Director with over 10 years of experience spanning a variety of sectors including Software, Technology, Life Sciences, and Industrials. In addition to executing numerous billion dollar M&A transactions and financings with global corporations and private equity sponsors, Anton has investment expertise in growth equity and venture capital, and previously held an operational role as a CFO.
Representative Accordion engagements include Visibility / KPI services and transaction support across a variety of sectors, including Software, Consumer / Retail, Entertainment, Industrials, Business Services, and Telecom for the portfolio companies of Carlyle, Madison Dearborn Partners, Charlesbank, Frontenac Company, and Charter Oak Equity.
Prior to Accordion, Anton was a Director and CFO of UnderBuilt, a B2B SaaS company in the real estate sector. He led the company’s transformative adoption of a SaaS business model, digital marketing, and sales that resulted in 100% revenue growth and significant seed capital. In addition, he worked closely with the CTO on data licensing and rebuilding the entire front and back end of the API.
Previously, Anton was an Associate at RiverVest Venture Partners, where he worked with over 25 portfolio companies and many more prospective investments. His responsibilities included sourcing and diligencing investment opportunities, market and product analysis, capital structure modeling, portfolio company FP&A, and transaction execution. Notable transactions include: 1) the $123 million IPO of ZS Pharma and 2) its subsequent $2.7 billion acquisition by AstraZeneca, 3) the $260 million acquisition of Lumena Pharmaceuticals by Shire, and 4) the creation of the Archer Seed Fund.
In New York City, Anton was a Vice President in Senior Relationship Management at Barclays Capital. Here, he worked on big ticket strategic corporate and investment banking transactions. Anton started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers where he gained extensive financial modeling, M&A, and capital raising experience.
Anton received his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He obtained Beta Gamma Sigma honors (Top 15%) and the Kenneth and Marilyn Steinback Endowed Scholarship. Anton graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from New York University with a B.A. in Economics (with Honors) and a minor in French.
