Anton is a Vice President with over a decade of experience spanning a variety of sectors, including Software, Technology, Life Sciences, and Industrials. In addition to executing numerous billion-dollar M&A transactions & financings with global corporations and private equity sponsors, Anton is differentiated by his investment experience in private equity and venture capital, and his operational experience as a CFO.
Representative Accordion engagements include the Software, Industrials, Business Services, and Telecom sectors for portfolio companies of Madison Dearborn Partners, Frontenac Company, and Charter Oak Equity.
Prior to Accordion, Anton was a Director and CFO of UnderBuilt, a B2B SAAS company in the real estate sector. He led its transformative adoption of a SAAS business model, digital marketing and sales resulting in 100% revenue growth and significant seed capital. In addition, he worked closely with the CTO on data licensing and rebuilding the entire front and back end of the API.
Previously, Anton was an Associate at RiverVest Venture Partners, where he worked with over 25 portfolio companies and many more prospective investments. His responsibilities included sourcing & diligence investment opportunities, market & product analysis, capital structure modeling, portfolio company FP&A, and transaction execution. Notable transactions include the $123 million IPO of ZS Pharma & its subsequent $2.7 billion acquisition by AstraZeneca, the $260 million acquisition of Lumena Pharmaceuticals by Shire, and the creation of the Archer Seed Fund.
In New York City, Anton was a Vice President in Senior Relationship Management at Barclays Capital where he worked on big ticket strategic corporate & investment banking transactions. Anton started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers where he gained extensive financial modeling, M&A, and capital raising experience. Notable transactions include the $1.1 billion sale of American Express Private Bank and a $1.6 billion capital raise for CIT.
Anton received his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis where he received Beta Gamma Sigma honors (Top 15%) and the Kenneth and Marilyn Steinback Endowed Scholarship. Anton graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a B.A. majoring in Economics (with Honors) and minoring in French, in addition to being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
