Alex Torres

Alex is a Senior Director with over 25 years of financial systems implementation experience. His software experience includes implementations in NetSuite, Epicor, Solomon, and Great Plains spanning numerous industries such as technology, mass media, NFP, distribution, and manufacturing.

Before joining Accordion, Alex worked at ABACI (acquired by Accordion in 2022), where he was a project manager of an ongoing NetSuite SuiteBilling implementation, currently the largest SuiteBilling customer in the NetSuite portfolio. Under his leadership, the ABACI team helped reduce billing cycle times from 96 hours to 36 hours, allowing the client the ability to get their invoices out to the customers more efficiently. He also implemented NetSuite at a large not-for-profit customer, helping them leverage the power of a SaaS-based system and reduce reliance on in-house hardware and systems.

Prior to this, Alex spent two decades as co-founder of Oris Corporation, an Epicor value-added reseller. He served on the technical side of the business, primarily working with SQL Server to develop scripts integrating Epicor with other systems (such as banks and other SaaS-based systems). Alex also led the team from Oris in a large-scale migration project for Advance Publications, moving multiple Epicor-based portfolio companies over to PeopleSoft throughout the course of multiple years. Additionally, he implemented Epicor in various other companies, such as the American Optometric Association, where he helped develop a custom ASP.NET application to manage employee expenses (integrated with Epicor).

Alex began his career working for a boutique firm implementing Solomon software on both Microsoft and Novell servers. Alex plans to expand the breadth and depth of his ERP knowledge while at Accordion.

Alex holds a B.S.B.A in Accounting and Finance from Wright State University as well as certifications in NetSuite and Epicor. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and has proficiency working with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and SAP Crystal Reports.
