Alex is a Senior Director with nearly 15 years of experience in both industry and consulting leadership roles, with a focus on corporate and operational finance. He has extensive acquisition, carve-out, and transactions experience working with private equity sponsors to fully integrate financial reporting, systems, processes, and personnel. Alex also has a background in finance leadership roles across the Technology, Manufacturing, and Logistics Sectors.
Prior to joining Accordion, Alex served as an interim CFO for a Warburg Pincus-owned SaaS company. In this role, he managed all aspects of finance and accounting functions including a merger with another SaaS company, ASC 606, purchase accounting, ERP implementation, liquidity modeling, and guiding the company through annual audit process.
Alex also has a background in Project Portfolio Optimization and led a TPG owned company through a $500M capital expenditure funding process. In this role, he implemented a decentralized funding decision process and worked with strategy and product marketing teams to measure and link ROI for each investment to financials. This process was approved by the board and adopted company wide.
Alex holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
