Alex Milani

Alex is a Managing Director with nearly two decades of experience in advisory and private equity, focused on M&A execution and value creation. He has deep expertise in merger integration and carve-outs, partnering with private equity sponsors to drive operational readiness and integrate finance functions across reporting, systems, processes, and teams. Alex also brings prior finance leadership experience across multiple industries, including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and logistics.

At Accordion, Alex has led numerous end-to-end merger integration and carve-out projects spanning multiple sectors, helping clients unlock deal value through issue-free Day 1 readiness and post-close execution. He works with CFOs and private equity sponsors to build saleable finance functions that are fit for scale and aligned with the sponsor’s investment thesis. Alex brings a disciplined, playbook-driven approach to integration—applying lessons from prior transactions through frameworks that accelerate execution, strengthen finance operations, and maximize value across the investment lifecycle.

Prior to joining Accordion, Alex served as CFO for a Warburg Pincus–owned SaaS company, overseeing all finance and accounting functions through a merger with another SaaS platform. His responsibilities included merger integration planning and execution, purchase accounting, ERP implementation, liquidity modeling, and managing the annual audit process.

Alex holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
