Alex MacPherson

Alex is a Senior Director with almost 15 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution. His specific area of focus is designing, building, and implementing technology solutions as part of broader business transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Accordion, Alex led the technology team at OperationsRx (acquired by Accordion in 2024), which included the CloudAnalytics platform, ERP implementations, IT strategy, systems integration, data warehouse development, and custom software solutions. While his background is highly technical, Alex excels at bridging the gap between business and technology.

Alex is responsible for implementing software solutions and accelerating operations transformation initiatives in industries such as: automotive, industrial manufacturing, medical devices, F&B, wholesale distribution, retail, service, and e-commerce. Most notably, Alex leads the CloudAnalytics team, which provides demand planning, capacity planning, MRP, shop floor scheduling, SKU analytics, product rationalization, and network optimization capabilities for disparate data systems.

Alex graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Information Technology and a Minor in Business Administration. His studies focused on enterprise software development and computer security.
