Alex is a Vice President with over eight years of finance and accounting integration, transformation and audit experience. Alex specializes in helping companies plan for and execute finance and accounting function integrations and ensure successful integration of financial reporting, systems, processes and personnel post-transaction close.
Before joining Accordion, Alex worked at Stout supporting public and private equity-backed clients through finance function integrations and transformations which included Day 1/100 planning, Finance Integration Management Office (FIMO) stand-up, month-end close reduction, finance function assessment and process improvement, and cash and P&L forecasting.
Prior to Stout Alex was a manager in Deloitte’s advisory practice where he spent time delivering transformation engagements for large public company clients within the life sciences and healthcare industries. He supported numerous engagements focused on improving the effectiveness of finance including technology implementation, finance function assessment and operating model design, and finance process improvement.
Alex started his career in Deloitte’s audit practice where he was responsible for performing and reviewing audit procedures in support of comprehensive financial statement reviews.
Alex graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Accounting. Alex is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania.
