Alex is a Executive Director with nearly three decades of technical accounting experience stemming from his auditor and consultant roles at the Big 4 and private equity companies. A certified public accountant, Alex leads complex projects dealing with restatement accounting, debt restructuring, capex accounting, and provides cost savings advisory services via establishing performance measures and accountability.

At Accordion, Alex partners with the management of private equity-backed companies to ensure the absence of accounting errors and overspending, and compliance with lender covenants. He assists clients with revenue recognition, cash flows, and liquidity analysis. As for revenue recognition, Alex works with accounting, finance, and legal functions to improve clients’ customer contracting procedure and ensure that revenue is recognized appropriately. He also leads client efforts to enhance stakeholder visibility through the implementation of best practices for transparent management accounting, and budget-to-actual variance reporting.

Representative Accordion engagements include private equity portfolio companies for The Carlyle Group, New Mountain Capital, H.I.G. Capital, Bain, and FFL Partners. His industry experience spans Healthcare, Technology, Manufacturing, Software and SaaS, Consumer Products and Business Services.

Alex is a graduate from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
