Adam is a Vice President with over eight years of diverse experience in distressed and non-distressed financial advisory. With Accordion, Adam’s key experience includes cash flow modeling and liquidity management, integrated financial modeling, restructuring advisory, bankruptcy, working capital improvement, AR & collections enhancement, performance improvement, KPI enhancement, finance function stand-up, and corporate finance.
Prior to joining Accordion, Adam worked at Development Specialists, Inc. (DSI), a boutique management consulting, turnaround and restructuring and financial advisory firm, where he assisted in a variety of restructuring, bankruptcy, and distressed-related corporate assignments. As a featured engagement, Adam supported multiple workstreams for the Chapter 11 Trustee of a $1B Peruvian fishing conglomerate with integrated financial modeling, sale and marketing of assets, and restructuring advisory. This included consistent travel across Peru.
Adam also previously worked at Grant Thornton in Chicago, where he assisted in the planning and execution of financial statement audits for public and private clients as well as performing controls testing.
He has advised clients across multiple industries, including: restaurants, retail, fintech, SaaS, telecom, distribution, manufacturing, and fishing.
Adam earned a B.S. in Accountancy and a Master of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also studied for a semester at ESCP Europe Business School in Paris, France. Adam is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
