CFO Technology

Accordion’s CFO Technology Practice effectively and efficiently delivers the digital services and solutions to support organizational strategic initiatives.

Our CFO Technology experts work cross-functionally — alongside practitioners from all corners of Accordion — to arm CFOs with the appropriate digital solutions needed to implement the team’s business process recommendations and to capitalize on value creation opportunities. From ERP, CPM, Analytics, Data Integration, RPA, and beyond, CFO Tech provides finance leaders with a single, objective partner capable of delivering from strategy to execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the FinTech Advisory Project Management Office including the deployment, mentoring, and socialization of standards, processes, methods, tools, and metrics.
  • Run the bi-weekly PMO meetings. Ensure the PMO dashboard and associated status is updated before the meeting.
  • The Sr. Director, PMO works with a high degree of autonomy and applies expert project and program management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Establish project KPI’s and success factors and monitor during the project.
  • Collaborate with their peers to actively refine and improve the SDLC.
  • May also be required to utilize and manage vendor resources to complete project work.
  • Provide centralized control, coordination, and reporting of scope, change, cost, risk, and quality across all projects
  • Train, coach, and mentor project managers in project management and project delivery
  • Manage corporate and project priorities matching business goals with appropriate technology solutions
  • Ensure the repeatability of successful projects by establishing standards, artifacts, and best practices across projects
  • Increase collaboration across projects
  • Provide increased stakeholder satisfaction with project-related work through increased communications, collaboration, training, and awareness
  • Manage budgets and resource utilization within the FinTech practice
  • Reduce time to market by providing better coordination
  • Reduce project costs by streamlining common tasks
  • Reduce corporate project risk

Ideally, You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years in Project Management, preferably in software development
  • Full understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with multiple delivery models including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
  • PMI, PMP or Six Sigma black bet certification preferred
  • Expert negotiations skills, 5+ years’ experience working with senior technical staff
  • Strong track record of Product Delivery
  • Expert ability with MS Project & MS Office suite
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork & collaboration skills

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic

  • Able to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessary
  • A team player, able to work with team members across all levels
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful work

  • Willing to travel according to client needs
