Jake is a Vice President in Accordion’s Strategic Finance practice with more than 8 years of experience within the financial services sector, having worked in private equity secondaries investing and investment banking advisory. He supports private equity sponsors and CFOs on financial reporting, planning, and forecasting initiatives, helping portfolio companies in technology, financial services, and other industries build the infrastructure needed to drive value creation.
Before joining Accordion, Jake spent nearly six years focused on private equity secondaries investing, most recently as a Vice President at Pathway Capital Management and previously as a Senior Associate at APG Asset Management, where he evaluated and executed secondary transactions across private equity funds, working closely with general partners and limited partners on deal structuring, due diligence, and portfolio valuation. Jake began his career at Piper Sandler in the investment banking division, advising clients on capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, and financial restructurings within both the Restructuring and Special Situations group and the Technology group.
At Accordion, Jake applies his background within financial services to lead workstreams focused on financial reporting design, budgeting and forecasting processes, and finance function build outs for portfolio companies navigating growth, acquisitions, or organizational change. He works closely with CFOs, sponsors, and operating teams to establish reliable data and reporting infrastructure, develop board and management reporting packages, and turn complex financial data into clear, decision ready insights.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
