Joe Niembro is a Managing Director with more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale finance transformation, integration, and separation programs across diverse sectors including life sciences, industrials, leisure, and chemicals. He has partnered with CFOs and executive teams to deliver complex transactions and finance initiatives that drive strategic growth, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
Prior to joining Accordion, Joe was a Director at KPMG UK, where he led multidisciplinary teams through all stages of the deal cycle—from pre-deal diligence and carve-out readiness through to post-merger integration and target operating model design. His work spanned both corporate and private equity clients, combining deep technical finance expertise with a practical, execution-focused approach.
Joe began his career in industry leading the commercial and finance agenda across various sectors for DHL Supply Chain, he then joined KPMG finance consulting and has since built a reputation for delivering high-impact transformation across finance functions, transaction services, and operating model redesign.
His experience includes leading integration management offices, supporting CFOs on Buy and Sell side on Carve-outs, implementing new reporting and control frameworks, and supporting global businesses through system and process optimization. Example projects include:
